The Sorority of Sanity

The Phi Tau Kappa Sorority is a community for mamas and honorable aunties where sanity, sass, and sisterhood reign supreme. Because we all need our village to survive mother/womanHOOD. 

Phi Tau Kappa (ΦΤΚ) was born from our circle’s three-letter mantra: FTK—our playful reminder to prioritize ourselves, protect mama time, and keep our sanity. We chose the Greek letters Φ-Τ-Κ to mirror that energy and make it official. If you know, you know (wink wink). Around here, FTK means boundaries, belly laughs, and showing up for each other—guilt-free.

Our ΦTΚ crest is a mix of symbols that tell our story — coffee, wine, a little green, and a big fat “no kids” reminder that mama time is sacred. The colors say it all: pink for the rosé we sip, brown for the coffee that keeps us grounded (coffee grounds, literally), and green for the mamas who garden and keep the vibes lifted. And of course, our crest wouldn't be complete without a crown to represent our FTK: Forever Thriving Kweens! 

What started as a simple back-to-school brunch with my mommy friends turned into something bigger. We’re always saying, “let’s get together soon,” but between kids, schedules, and chaos, it rarely happens. That day I realized we needed more than just good intentions — we needed structure, laughter, and a reason to actually show up for each other. And that’s when the idea of a mommy sorority was born.

From that one brunch came the birth of ΦTΚ: The Sorority of Sanity — a sisterhood designed to make sure moms don’t just say they’ll meet up, but actually do.

Now, I’ve packaged it all into the Mommy Sorority Kit — complete with a charter, bylaws, sub-chapters for the various mother types, Sister Naming Certificate, and rituals — so you and your mama crew can start your own chapter, empower each other, and thrive together.
